The 50% deposit required upon booking covers my time I will spend communicating + planning with you prior to your session. Your deposit also protects me from potential loss of business for a date your contract was holding should you decide to cancel for any reason.

Pricing starts at $1,100 for full sessions. The time it takes for me to communicate + plan a session, prep my gear, travel to + from a session, shoot, cull + edit, + backup files, as well as costs like liability insurance, self employment business tax taken from all revenue, website + photo gallery hosting, editing software, contract site fees, + vendor county permits are all factored into my pricing. Seasonality of being a beach photographer naturally affects my pricing as well. In order to commit myself full time to photography as my career so that I can provide my clients with the best possible service, I have to be fair to myself + charge what is necessary in order to have a reasonable take home income to provide for my family.

Please keep in mind a few things in regards to my pricing, although it's important for a photographer to fit your budget, it's also very important you choose your photographer because you like their style of shooting + editing, as well as personality! I don't alter my editing to be a different style for each individual session, only lighting, weather, + outfit colors will produce minimal variations. I stay consistent, so what you see on my social accounts + website is the style of images you will receive.

We also need to click since it's an intimate experience having your photo taken, so I want you to feel like you're my friend + very comfortable with me.

No! The pricing listed for each of my packages on the "Investment" page is the full price you will pay for your session. I do not charge any taxes or fees on top of those amounts.

I'm so glad you asked! I love to help clients with styling + will be there for you every step of the way when pulling together outfits for your session. As soon as I receive your signed contract + deposit, I’ll send over my style guide that provides tons of helpful tips, including references to my favorite shops + a Pinterest board with shopping links! If requested, I am always happy to put together a custom style board for you with shopping links to new wardrobe pieces to consider purchasing, or, I can include photos of items you may already own + would like to wear + fill in the missing pieces to help pull everything together!

The Gulf Coast of Florida weather is very unpredictable! I watch the weather closely for each of my sessions, typically starting a day out from your session. If I feel we should move the session up in time to dodge rain, or out a day or so due to weather, I will contact you as soon as possible + do my best to reschedule your session. This is why I encourage clients to book their session towards the beginning of their trip, rather than the last evening, + have some flexibility incase there is any need to re-schedule.

Please know, that despite the summer season being extremely busy, I am always very flexible when it comes to rain or inclement weather - so don't stress over it! Leave that to me.

Every image received in your final online gallery will be fully edited + retouched. I am very careful to edit every image I deliver you including skin blemishes, any spots on clothing, or anything distracting in an image that would take away from you, like photo bombers swimming in the water.

Please note though, I believe in body positivity, so I don’t alter the way you look. If you’re self-conscious about anything, please let me know before we begin our session + I’ll be sure to be aware of this while I’m posing you. I also do not work extensively in photoshop, so I will not be able to add someone in your photos who wasn't in the original image taken, or completely remove someone. I can sometimes do a face swap depending on the particular set of images we are working with upon individual requests + for an additional fee.

Each package varies in the amount of images you will be able to select to be fully edited from your gallery of proofs you will receive after your session. You also have the option to purchase additional images, or the full session after receiving your gallery of proofs if you decide to. Please be sure to read the details of each package on the "Investment" page for further information. I always ensure to cull through + only include the very best quality images from our session together.

Your images will be delivered through your own online gallery where you can download all of your images – allowing you to save + print your images wherever you prefer. You will also be able to share your gallery to family members who may want to download + print images for themselves. It will be your responsibility to ensure you download + save your final images to several places for safe keeping as soon as possible. You'll have guaranteed access to your gallery for 3 months from the date that you received it.

Turnaround time for your final images is typically 4-6 weeks from your session date. Although within each contract, it states that galleries can be delivered within 2 months of your session date - this is in place for any extreme medical circumstances that may come up that would delay my editing. I try to complete + deliver your images back to you as soon as possible while making sure I give the appropriate time to edit each + every image. Please note, I do not send sneak peeks.

Absolutely! All of the packages I offer include full printing rights, so you can print wherever you prefer. For trusted quality printing services, I also offer a convenient print shop right within your gallery you'll receive!

You'd be surprised how often clients are nervous before a session unsure of how I'll help make them look natural in front of the camera.

I have clients say to me all the time "we're super awkward" at the beginning of a session with me, + EVERY. DANG. TIME. they get their photos back they always tell me how natural they look + felt during their session! Even guys say they had some fun they weren't expecting.

I will direct you through providing some fun + simple prompts to get those natural, in-between moments, + occasionally help pose you a little so you will look like you know what you're doing! I'm here to help fix your hair so it's out of your face while you hold your baby, adjust clothing so your bra isn't showing, whatever it takes to get the shot! So yes, of course I'll be there to help you know what to do with your hands so you look GOOD!

Please note, I don't treat multi-generational sessions like family wedding portraits with different family members switching in + out of the shots for the entire session. I'll rely on my client to relay this information to their group. I of course want to provide you with a few traditional + fun group shots, but the rest of our time will be spent capturing individual couples + families in the group in a more natural + candid way together.

I want these to be less about getting multiple different types of group shots + more focused on allowing you guys the time to join together for an hour to have some fun as a family while I capture you. This produces the work I am most proud of + in turn results in you receiving the type of photos you see on my website + social accounts, final results you will be happy with, I promise!

You'll still be able to get some shots with the grandparents + grandkids, just sisters, or mom + daughter, but I try not to allow the session to become a bunch of stand in shots smiling at the camera. If you're looking for this + someone to more so point + shoot grandma with every single family member alone smiling at the camera, I am probably not the best fit for you as a photographer. This is why I also limit these sessions to only 20 people total MAX. This includes all children, even babies.

I only offer a limited amount of mini sessions throughout the off season, October - April. I no longer offer mini sessions during the peak summer season. This is due to the nature of being a beach photographer, having a limited window of one hour at sunrise or sunset each weekday to take on a client through the few months of summer each year that makes up our income for the entire year. With the beach not offering any shade like other types of locations for photos, this limits myself to only take on a few sessions throughout the week during those times, therefore I have to reserve those spots for full price sessions.

I've also found that my best work is produced with a more relaxed time frame that a full session allows. They also often take the same amount of work on my end from communication, drive time, to editing - although shooting for a shorter period of time.

You don't have to use the entire hour of a full session if your kids are just over it after a bit, but the time is there to allow breaks if needed for younger kids or if planning an outfit change, as well as walking to + from spots during our session together. Or, if you happen to be running late to your session as things can happen out of our control, like that pesky Seaside traffic or occasional golf cart that won't get out of the way, you won't run out of sunlight as quickly as you would if you were late to a mini session. I don't just shoot "smiling at the camera" photos, if this is all you are looking for, I'm not the right fit for you + I encourage you to find a photographer who is.

I don't. Editing is half of what makes my style of photography different + why it’s important to select me as your photographer because my style suits you as well. I cull through + only carefully select the best images from your session for editing. Not every photo we take will be of the best quality, which is why we take plenty of options during your session that I cull through in detail prior to the actual editing process.

I currently do not travel outside of the 30A + Destin, Florida areas for sessions - which includes Dune Allen, Gulf Place, Blue Mountain, Grayton, WaterColor, Seaside, Seagrove, Watersound, Alys, Seacrest, Rosemary, Inlet, + Destin. I have two young children + am committed to working close to home for now while they are still little so work doesn't take too much time away from my time off with my family.
