When I first met Emily + her fam it just felt like we all clicked instantly, no pun intended! They visited from Memphis, TN, where I grew up + were just so easy + fun to work with! There are many times I meet clients + leave a session wishing they lived here so we could all hang out with our kids haha. This was one of those for sure..
When I arrived to this session, I could definitely tell it was going to be a more cloudy + gloomy one which was unexpected. Yet we still had some really nice coloring to the sky, which really surprised me given the lack of light we had for most of the session. Emily's family had some great color on their skin too from a week at the beach, so I wanted to make sure I didn't pull too much of that out of their photos when it came time to edit this session, but wanted to keep everything as vibrant as possible while still feeling natural. I was so happy with how fun they turned out + was happy to hear good feedback from my clients upon receiving their final edited gallery as well, given the complexity to the edit with the weather conditions.
